Donate to our Emergency Fund

There are many Chihuahua's that come into rescue with medical needs far beyond just a normal vet exam, vaccinations, and spay or neuter. Issues that require more than basic vetting would be mouth, eye, ear, nose, or throat conditions, including cherry-eye repair. Other conditions that we treat are coccidia, tape worms, and other parasites, heartworm and erhliccia positive dogs, parvo infected dogs, dental issues, blood disorders, surgical procedures, and knee surgeries. Often these are surgeries that are necessary in order for the dog to live an active, pain-free life. By donating to the ER Fund, you are helping "Because of You" help the Chihuahuas that would otherwise live a life of pain.

Sponsor a Chihuahua

Want to help a Chihuahua in need but do not have the extra time nor space to devote to another furry family member?
Then "Sponsoring" is for you!

What is a Sponsor?
A Sponsor is a kind-hearted person that wants to help save Chihuahua's in need.

What must be done in order to become a Sponsor?

1.) Look over all the Chihuahua's bio's and see which one you would like to sponsor.
2.) Click on the "Sponsor" button, located at the bottom of the Chihuahua's page. Enter the amount you would like to donate for the Chihuahuas care and note which Chi you are sponsoring.
3.) Sit back and let that humble feeling sink in....yep, you just did a great thing! A pat on the back is well deserved!

Sponsor's help provide the "extras" for their sponsored Chihuahua. Sponsor donations help to provide special treats, blankets, and beds for their sponsored Chihuahua.

There are times when a Chihuahua requires more vet care than the typical rescued Chihuahua, sponsoring helps ensure that care is received. Sponsors help to provide the extra special care that all Chihuahua dogs deserve!
