Today is Saturday the 6th of Feb. We were at Petsmart today with many of our cute dogs. There were lots of people there, some looking for dogs, some with their dogs. It is always a good day when I see people who love and take care of their animals. We were lucky to have two families who found one of our dogs that would work well with their family. I wish there had been many more, but I am thankful for each and every one of them!!! Next week on Friday and Saturday I will have dogs at Petsmart in Edmond, since they are having a Adoptathon weekend. We will also have dogs at the Petsmart in Moore, on Saturday. So if you are looking for a special new friend and faithful companion, come visit us!

1st Saturday of each month we will be at Petsmart on 63rd and May. 11am to 4pm
2nd Saturday of each month we will be at the Petsmart in Moore. 11am to 4 pm 3rd Saturday of each month we will be at Petsmart on 63rd and May. 11am to 4 pm
4th Saturday of each month we will be at the Petsmart in Edmond. 11am to 4 pm
If there is a 5th Saturday in the month, watch this site for location!

Look at the cute dogs in the arms of the best foster moms, in rescue!!!
We attended this event and had such a great time. The weather was perfect, there were lots of rescue groups there, and hopefully, the Bella Foundation who was the sponsor, made lots of money to help their cause. There was a dog walk and contests and food and raffles and doggy fellowship!

Something to Chew on
We don't get the elegantly coiffed, classically beautiful, completelty trained, perfectly behaved dog....We get the leftovers.
Dogs that other people have incompetently bred, inadequately socialized, ineffectively "trained", and badly treated.
Most rescue dogs have had it.They've been pushed from one lousy situation to another.
They've never had proper veterinary care, kind and consistent training, or sufficient company.
They've lived outside, in a crate, or in the basement.They're scared, depressed and anxious.
Some are sick, some have given up!
But we are Rescue and we don't give up. We never give up on a dog.
We know that a dog is a living being, with a spirit and a heart and feelings.
Our dogs are not commodities, things, or garbage. They are a part of scared creation,
and they deserve as much love and care and respect as the next Westminister Champion.
So please, please don't come to rescue in the hopes of getting a "bargain" or indeed of "getting" anything.
Come to Rescue to give, to love, to save a life-- and to mend your own spirit.
For rescue will reward you in ways you never thought possible. I can promise you this--
A rescue dog will make you a better person!
